Pictograph Newsletter for July 12, 2010
July 7, 2010
This month at the Pictograph gallery we have an exhibit by Heather Schmutzer, "my answer to the question, just what have you been doing since you retired??" Heather has been studying southwest native art and taking classes and workshops from artists and craftsmen in Arizona since retiring from teaching art in the Atikokan school system 10 years ago. With 40 years of experience in the art field, Heather has explored art in it's many forms which include but are not limited to acrylic paintings, pastels, silverwork, pottery, large murals and gourds just to name a few. Up for display from Heather this month we have a large collection of gourds as well as Kachina dolls, pottery, silverwork and other pieces that must be seen.
Also, it should be noted that everything is tax free! The price on the tag is the price you pay. Come down to the Pictograph gallery and save on paying any tax on all items. Remember also if you have any items you have no use for or need to make some room, you can donate them to our flea market.
Thank you for stopping in to see our Gallery and Gift Shop.
We hope you enjoyed your visit and will return.
