PICTOGRAPH GALLERY NEWS
Welcome to 2010, and another outstanding year of exhibitions for the Pictograph Gallery. Our line-up this year includes many talented local artists, along with a few from the region.
The Galley is pleased to present "Elemental Worlds" an exhibition by Jonathan Lewis, showing from January 9-30, 2010. We invite everyone to an opening from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9th. Our regular hours will resume Tuesday - Saturday, 12 noon - 3:00 p.m. the following week, and the show closes on January 30th, 2010.
From Jonathan we hear that 'visual art expresses important truths about our experience. Painting is able to show what words cannot'. Visitors to this show will see landscapes which convey the natural world for all to enjoy.
Take time to come by the Voyageur Mall, and see our first show of 2010. It will warm the senses, and hopefully, get rid of January blues. So, from Lori McCluskey, Cecile Davidson, Andrea Allison, Val Fraser, Phyllis Mosley, Mary Dyck (our newest board member) and myself, Chris Spilchuk - Happy New Year, and all the best to our volunteers, members, and visitors to the Gallery.
