Kristie Cameron's show entitled “Inside Looking Out” opened on Saturday, September 5. The opening was a resounding success. Wayne Docking presented Kristie with the Gallery's People's Choice award which was donated by Souris River Canoes. Congratulations once again, Kristie. We had an excellent turnout, with family and friends “ooohing” and “aaahing” over the masterful works displayed on our Gallery walls. Kristie's art proudly reveals her Aboriginal heritage and as you walk around taking in all the splendid colours and the vibrancy of each piece the story each one tells becomes very apparent. It is a show you must set some time aside to come down and view. Kristie's show was funded in part by an Exhibition Grant from Ontario Arts Council. Her show runs from September 5 – 26th.
On October 2nd and 3rd the Gallery will be holding a “Deals and Steals” Market. This event will run from 12:00 to 5:00 each day and will be fun for the whole family. Keep posted for more details.
