This week at the Pictograph Art Gallery we are displaying Vanessa Keeash’s exhibition, Forgetting Yourself, a collection of art in a variety of mediums, including acrylics and oils on canvas, prints, and even sculptures. Vanessa has been painting for about ten years now, and recently finished her third year of Fine Arts studies at Georgian College. She will be returning in the fall to complete her fourth and final year, where she will receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours. Her art is diverse, captivatingly beautiful and expresses many emotions. Come in and check it out, it’ll be on display until the 25th!
Once again, we’re still accepting applications into the Quetico Open Juried Art Exhibit. We’ve received over twenty applications already, but we still have plenty of room! Get your applications in by July 15th and your works or art themselves in between July 28th to the 30th. Judging will take place on the evening of the 7th, and the exhibition will open to the public on the 8th. Come visit us to see our local artists’ masterpieces!
The Gallery is always open Monday to Saturday, 11 to 4. Come drop in for a visit, take a look around, and explore our gift shop, which has a variety of local artist and artisans’ wonderful creations for sale! Remember, we’re located in the lower level of the Voyageur Mall.
