The apple cider was a hit with everyone that visited the gallery after the Kiwanis voyageur themed parade, thank you for participating in this joyous occasion. The Pictograph Gallery has its own reason to celebrate, might I call it a Christmas Gift, as we wish to announce the birth of our web site. With the support of The Atikokan Economic Development Office and a Community Initiatives Grant, we have been able to advance into new technology. A big thank you to the AEDO for facilitating our request. Our web site will enable us to further promote Atikokan as well as our many local talented artists to the region and to the world. A benefit for patrons having difficulty negotiating the stairs to our location, now have access to the Gallery to view current and past exhibits. Log onto www.atikokanpictographgallery.com. We are very pleased to provide this service to the community and to our exhibitors. Expertly developed by Doug Lampi, board members will be receiving ongoing maintenance training. We anticipate upgrades with a host of possibilities as our volunteer web masters learn the ropes, for now we wish to keep it simple. The Dryden Artists Association conducted a juried art competition for the region this past November.
